Review of Camco RV Vents and Fans - Plumbing Vent - CAM40595- Video

Today we're gonna take a look at the Cyclone RV Plumbing Vent. Now with this plumbing vent you can use the power, the wind, to draw holding tank odors out of your RV. Normally with ordinary plumbing vents air pressure while driving can force the air down the stack pushing unpleasant tank odors into your RV cab. Today we're gonna take a look at the Fan-Tastic Vent, Roof Vent, with 12 volt fan. This is going to be a manual lift design and it's going to fit 14-1/4" by 14-1/4".This is gonna be a great way to circulate the air inside your camper, RV, or trailer. We're going to have the option to either push air out or pull air in so that we can get everything ventilated properly.Now we'll have a dark lid at the top. As you can see it has this smoke colored polypropylene dome, so it's going to help to filter out any UV rays, but it's also gonna let in enough light that we can see what's goin' on.That dome is gonna be controlled by the knob on the bottom, as you can see over here. Basically, this is gonna help to eliminate any nasty odors that occur in your RV from that black water tank. A lot of times they can be a build up of gases inside that black water tank that come out of your commode, so this is going to help to siphon those out.Basically, it's going to create a vacuum to pull those gases up and out, and eliminate any of that backtracking gas. Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent Installation- Video

Speaker 1: Today we're going to be taking a look at the Ventline vented dome trailer roof vent in white. It's also available in smoke and with white with the birch trim. To help us with our installation, we're going to be using the vent installation kit, part number 3-4-4-2-7-0-K-I-T-W. Here's what our vent is going to look like once we have it installed. Here, you have a manual vent, so we can simply rotate this knob to close the vent, or if we want to let some of that hot air out of our trailer, we can rotate it the other way, opening the vent up.Now, our Ventline vent is going to be a standard replacement vent, or if you're adding a new vent, just keep in mind you are going to need a 14 and a quarter by 14 and a quarter square hole. This roof vent pushes stale air out of your RV, camper, or enclosed trailer.A few features that I want to go over first, that way we can get them out of the way and then talk about the fan itself. The main one is this right here, this is an interior polypropylene trim, or garnish, and it has that big lip on it. This is what goes in-between the ceiling and the roof of your RV, camper, or enclosed trailer. This garnish right here has a lip length of four and one quarter inches and I'll show you that measurement in a moment. It can be trimmed down to fit your roof thickness if needed, so that way you don't have to purchase a shorter on, you can just trim this one down. more

Today, we're going to take a look at the Vent Cover for the Ventline Old Style Rounded Dome Trailer Roof Vents, this one's a blue-gray color. Now this will replace the vent cover on your Ventline Old Style rounded dome trailer roof vent. This vent cover is designed for the 14-1/4 by 14-1/4 roof vents. Give you a few measurements on that. The inside diameter is going to be 14-1/4, so that's how it fits the 14-1/4 roof vents. The overall outside dimension from edge to edge is right at 15 inches. The total height from the top of the dome to the top is going to be right at 2-3/4 inches tall. more
